Steve and wife Diane founded VERTEX in 1991. Steve started his business career fresh out of the U.S. Marine Corps in the late 1970's. He joined Aetna Life & Casualty as a life systems actuarial programmer-trainee, earned his FLMI designation from LOMA and worked for several software and consulting firms in technical, management and officer positions before founding VERTEX in 1991. Through his experiences Steve believed there was a better way to service client needs in the changing and increasingly regulated insurance and financial insurance industries. He believed in partnership and collaboration with clients when achieving their goals and working as a team by supplying only the most qualified individuals to service client needs. With this objective Steve created a consulting firm with exemplary standards, ethics and ideals. Steve believes in community involvement and is deeply involved with local, city and state activities and charities, firmly believing that involvement in community affairs builds a better family, company and country.

Bob's background encompasses over twenty-five years of IT experience within the insurance industry. Joining VERTEX in its' first year Bob has been a key architect of our organization's growth and stability. He has provided senior level consulting services on proprietary Life and Annuity systems. Prior to joining VERTEX worked for The Hartford as a Technical Analyst and Project Manager. Earned his B.S. in Business Management from Bentley College. Awarded FLMI designation from LOMA.

Judy's background encompasses over twenty-five years of business and technology experience within the insurance and financial industries. Judy started her career with EDS in government services moving into the financial sector working within consulting and software development companies. Joining VERTEX in its' first year, Judy has been a key architect of our organization's growth, stability and proven reputation. She has provided leadership to our most coveted clients in all levels of consulting services. Today she runs the Traditional Services and Conversion Practices area for the company ensuring our clients receive the highest quality guidance and support for their business and systems needs.
Earned her B.S. in Business Management from West Virginia University. Awarded FLMI and other designations from LOMA.

Suzanne joined the VERTEX team 7 years ago and has been instrumental in the organization’s success in the e-Commerce space. Suzanne’s 14 years of Life and Annuity operations and technology experience, coupled with her commitment to the industry’s associations and data standards, provides VERTEX with a solid understanding of insurance products. As Vice President of Business Automation Strategies, Suzanne is responsible for client services and corporate development. Suzanne defines the strategy for expansion of VERTEX’s products and services in the e-Commerce space. She manages the client and technology partner relationships and is responsible for the development teams who maintain VERTEX’s proprietary products and client deliverables. Before joining VERTEX, Suzanne was a Relationship Manager at Computer Sciences Corporation in East Hartford, CT. Suzanne received a degree in Business Administration from the Manchester Community Technical College.
